Big plumbing repairs rarely come at a convenient time

A failed sewer line or a water heater that quits in January doesn't wait for your budget. Our financing partners can split the cost into monthly payments, usually with a decision in minutes while the plumber is still at your house.

How it works

Let your plumber know you’d like to look at financing when you get the quote. The application takes a few minutes on your phone, most lenders respond right away, and applying doesn’t commit you to anything. If you’re approved and want to proceed, the work is scheduled the same way as any other job.

Financing is provided by independent lenders, not by Clearwater. Our prices are the same whether you pay by card, check or monthly payment, and there is no fee for choosing to finance.

When it makes sense

The jobs we see financed most often are the ones nobody plans for: a sewer lateral that collapses, a slab leak, a water heater that fails right before the holidays. Financing lets you do the repair properly the first time instead of patching it and paying twice. It’s also common on upgrades that pay back over time, such as a tankless heater or a softener that extends the life of every appliance in the house.

Questions worth asking

Is there a prepayment penalty? Not on the plans we offer. What happens if a promotional balance isn’t paid in time? Interest is typically charged back to the purchase date, so plan to pay it off. Is the rate fixed on term plans? Yes. We’ll put the terms in writing alongside the quote so you can compare.

Hear a drip, smell sewage, or just out of hot water?

A licensed plumber will tell you what's wrong, what it costs to fix and what can safely wait. Upfront pricing before any work starts.
